Chicago - All flights at O'Hare and Midway have been stopped, as a severe storm rips through the area. More than 375 flights in and out of Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport were canceled Wednesday because of severe weather, according to the Chicago Department of Aviation.
The thunderstorms also caused delays of an hour or more at O’Hare and delays averaging 45 minutes at Midway International Airport.
The National Weather Service had predicted heavy rain with localized flooding, strong winds, hail and isolated tornadoes for Illinois and northwest Indiana.
